1. Cloud Computing Intern

Job Responsibilities:

- Participate in OpenStack based IaaS Cloud design and development project.

- Hands-on work in lab including hardware/software installation, maintenance and testing.

- Design, implement and execute both functionality and performance testing against the cloud.

- Research and explore new technologies and alternatives in building IaaS cloud.

Qualifications:

- Solid background in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

- Experience in Linux operations.

- Basic knowledge on virtualization and Cloud.

- Good English reading skill.

- Fast learning.

Additional requirements:

- Available 3 days per week at minimum.

2. Big Data Team Software Intern

The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment. He/she should also have quick learning skills and strong problem solving skills. The Software Intern will join a high talented product development team and participate in all phases of development - including technical design, implementation, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the team members on the development of Intel Distribution of Hadoop.

· Develop the cutting edge products, applications and tools based on Hadoop and related technology.

· Work on the quality assurance of the Intel Hadoop Products.

· Work with customer to implement the domain specific big data solution and application.

· Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor or master candidate in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

· Proficient in JAVA programming.

· Good communication skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English is preferred.

· Familiarity with computer networks is preferred.

· Knowledge of distributed computing is preferred.

· Knowledge of data mining algorithms is preferred.

· Experience with database related technology is a plus
